Complexion. How to choose, test and apply the best foundation or tinted moisturiser, powder, and concealer (with specific coverage of acne, birthmarks or facial scarring) for your skin type and desired coverage.

Highlighting, contouring (if required) and bronzing and the correct placement for your face shape

Blusher.  I’ll take you through the differing effects cream or powders have on the skin and the appropriate occasions when to use them.  Also, I’ll show you the colours that work best with your complexions under-colour and where and how to apply correctly for your face shape.

Eyes.  For your eyes, I will help you to: identify your eye shape, choose colours and formulas, shading and highlighting using the best techniques to apply these different products. Most of us dream of achieving that dark sultry 'classic' smokey eye, but in all honesty, the ‘classic’ doesn't suit everyone.  That doesn’t mean you can’t achieve an equally deep sensual blended look with colours and placement that actually suit you.  

Lips.  Whether you have full or fine lips you’ll learn how to make the most out of your shape by looking at the following: Types of lipsticks i.e. sheer or matt and which to apply for the look you are trying to achieve.  Your lip shape and how to discreetly alter it.  How to choose suitable colours for your complexions under-colour.  How and when (or not) to use lip liners.

Yes please.  I like to see what you use regardless of how much or how little you own.  You may have some pieces that I think work well on you and I’d show you how I would use them.

Yes.  I can either email or post a gift voucher for you to give to your loved one.

The voucher is valid for three months from the date of purchase.  However, if you’d like to present it to your loved one on their birthday I’d be happy to start the three months from that day.

It’s never too late to learn how makeup best works on you.  I work with a lot of clients with mature skin.  The skins texture and colouring changes over the years so as we get older we have to adjust what and how we apply on it.  For example: powder foundation can look great on a twenty something skin, however, as we get older switching to a nourishing liquid foundation would help the skin to look radiant.

I can definitely guide you step by step to design your wedding day makeup.   I would recommend either The Original or The Ultimate lessons because they include short tutorial videos for you to watch again and again, see the comparison table here.

Before your lesson I request that you complete my questionnaire; I’ll also ask if you could send me photographs of yourself and how you generally wear makeup (regardless of how much or how little), your dress, any hair ideas and even the venue.  This all helps me build an overall idea of how you would like present yourself.

There are three lessons: The Original and The Ultimate are 4.5 hours ( includes a light breakfast and lunch). The Mini is 2.5 hours.

Absolutely, I insist.  It’s truly the best way to remember what I’ve just shown you and it’s fun too.  I will apply the full look on one half of your face.  Then on the other side I will explain and demonstrate a product application then you will have a go.  This is repeated with every product.
