Makeup and skincare shopping can be daunting! Have you ever bought makeup that sounded great at the time but eventually realised it’s not suitable or you didn’t really need it? I get excited at the prospect of beauty shopping but even with all my years of experience I have to prepare myself before walking up to a beauty counter. However, I remind myself that I know more about me than the sales executive. I know my skin type; needs, complexion and under colour so I then approach a counter in a position of strength and confidence.
With my Personal Shopping service, I aim to arm you before we walk into a store with the knowledge about your own skin type; complexion and needs, so you won’t be swayed in to buying anything you don’t actually require or desire. After your personal shopping session, you will know how to test your foundation/concealers that best match and how to choose eyeshadow; blusher and lipstick colours that compliment/harmonise with (or dramatise) your complexion.
Your time with me can either be an actual shopping expedition or simply an exercise in knowing how and where to shop by taking you to my favourite stores and brands. There will be no pressure from me to purchase anything on the day but instead a new found confidence to ‘do it yourself’ in the future!
